WELCOME TO SCHIMJOLIE & Le Petite Country Shop – Studio & Gallery

It has been a long time since last blog post, and it’s not because nothing has happened 😉 Too much has happened, but I will not go on about that now!

I would like to tell you about my day to-day! I’m sooooo excited!

I have cleared out the garage at Strai and me and Svein Eriks new «baby» SchimJolie LifeStyleConcept is about to open a place for the public!

I can’t wait. And with our tempo it’s no reason to wait! I think next week we are up and running! WOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOO!!!

Everyone is welcome to see us and the Ltd #artscarf collection!

I might also take up my commercial photography and do some children and family portraits if anybody is interested?

Next to SchimJolie – Petite Country Shop I already have the most amazing flower and garden outlet «Drømmehaven» run by the sweetest and so friendly Kristin. She came with coffee to me as I was way down in all the crap and rubbish stored over many years in these three garages we cleared today!

Tomorrow I will paint the joint and then I will start decorating! Come and visit if you have the chance. I’ll bring the coffee machine tomorrow and there is always time for a chat!

The place will not be perfect at first but, but I need to get going and to get started, so I don’t worry, we’ll work it out as we move!

Life is too short to care about trifles 🙂 JUST DO IT!

So see you at Strai and at SchimJolie – Petite Country Shop – Studio & Gallery!

It’s only 10min by car from the center! Just saying!

Here are som photos of today’s progress 🙂

Now I’m making myself ready to go shopping…I’m hired as an interior designer for a project and I’m sooo exited!

This is a whole tree parquet in oak, and we found it very cheap at NEUMAN only like kr.249,- pr m2 And that is a bargain!

These doors are nice, and for a while I was considering them in whole tree (not cardboard) The material is so important I think!

But I have decided to go for this type, to make it a bit more plain. I like them and I like the price, so that is a good combination!

There is so much new stuff I don’t know about. This for instant is walls you can buy with this finish if you want one all with some structure. Really cool, from MOELVEN

Closer look…

In the bathroom I really have to make the most out of the little space. This shower is gorgeous and very practical course you can make it in your own measures and in that way  make the most of your available space!!

I also love this colour, blue and turquoise, but I will not choose this for this bathroom.

I will keep it in white and grey. Grey shiny mosaic tiles on the floor and this type of tile from the floor and up to the window over the window I will have the same type of tile and the same colour, but in mosaic.

All wall tiles are italian and coms from MARTE. And our distributer here in Kristiansand is FLISEKONSEPT, of course 🙂

We redecorated this bathroom quickly 18 month ago. We painted the walls, which were pink…and we put in a new shower cabinet, you can come and pick this up for free if you need one. It’s a bit dirty after three male students living here for a year…..

Here are the floor tiles. I like grey as I think it gives depth to the room. and the reflections make it look a bit more open!

There is a challenge with the angling roof, but I will work something out!!

If you have any tips or so I’ll be happy to hear them 🙂

To be continued……..
